Billing & Refund Policy

Software plans are billed monthly through Dodo Payments. This policy explains renewals, cancellation, billing corrections, refunds, and the separate treatment of manual agency work.

Effective July 18, 2026Version 2026-07-18

Canceling stops the next renewal; it does not delete your account or immediately end access already paid for. Mandatory refund or cancellation rights under applicable law are not limited by this policy.

1. Software subscriptions

Current plan prices, currency, billing interval, and included allowances are displayed before checkout and on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew monthly using the payment method managed by Dodo Payments until canceled. Usage allowances reset according to the service's monthly billing or usage cycle; unused allowances do not roll over and have no cash value.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access to paid features continues until then unless the account is terminated for breach, fraud, chargeback abuse, or security risk. Deleting an account is separate and permanent; export needed data before deletion.

3. Refunds

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, and we do not automatically issue prorated refunds for unused time, unused document allowances, downgrades, or account inactivity. We will correct duplicate charges, incorrect plan charges, and other verified billing errors. We may approve an exceptional refund case by case, and we will provide any refund required by applicable law.

Submit a request through the billing support form with the workspace email, invoice or transaction reference, charge date, and reason. Do not send card numbers. A request does not pause an upcoming renewal, so cancel separately if you do not want another charge.

4. Plan changes and failed payments

The checkout or billing portal will show the effective price and timing for an upgrade or downgrade before confirmation. A failed, reversed, disputed, or overdue payment may place the subscription in a limited state or end paid access. Existing private data is not made public because a payment fails.

5. Price changes and taxes

We may change software prices for future billing periods. Active customers will receive notice required by law before a material recurring-price change. Prices may exclude sales, use, value-added, goods-and-services, or similar taxes, which the merchant of record calculates where applicable. Currency conversion or bank fees are set by your payment provider.

6. Manual remediation services

Human-led remediation is not included in a software plan. Eligible agency projects are priced at $5 per accepted source page and must exceed 500 pages (501 pages or more). Payment stages, cancellation, changes, and acceptance are governed by the written project order and Manual Services Terms. Amounts for work already performed or non-cancellable capacity already committed are not automatically refundable.

7. Chargebacks

Contact us first so we can investigate. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension and recovery of provider fees where permitted. This does not limit a good-faith right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
