Exchange operations
PDF remediation reports with the context behind each number.
See where cases wait, how often first reviews accept the work, and what the current backlog means at the observed approval pace. Follow the report back to the case before changing an assignment or making a delivery commitment.

Know what the report measures.
Choose a 30, 90, or 180-day period in Operations reports. The numbers come from recorded events in the current workspace. Current workload and historical outcomes answer different questions, so their scope and assumptions remain visible.
- Turnaround by workflow stage
Median elapsed calendar days from intake to submission, vendor acceptance to submission, first submission to review response, intake to approval, and approval to delivery.
Each measure includes cases whose ending milestone falls in the selected period. Missing or inconsistent dates are excluded; a case contributes at most once per measure. Read the sample count beside the median.
- First-pass acceptance
Cases approved at their first review decision divided by cases receiving a first approval or request for changes during the reporting period.
A later approval does not rewrite an earlier request for changes. Cases still awaiting a first decision are shown separately. This is workflow acceptance, not an accessibility conformance rate.
- Workload outlook
Current cases awaiting approval, including drafts, alongside the observed rate of first approvals and an estimate of time to clear that work.
The estimate assumes no new cases, unchanged capacity, and equal effort per case. At least three first approvals in the period are needed when work remains. It is a planning estimate, not a promised delivery date.
- Assigned vendor workload
Current, non-revoked assignments grouped by vendor email, with open, overdue, in-review, and approved case counts plus available outcome measures.
A shared case appears for every assigned vendor. Do not add those rows to obtain a workspace total or treat an assignment as proof that one person caused an outcome.
Compare the revisions behind a review decision.
Within an Exchange case, choose a base and candidate revision. Compare the stored file hash, size, page count, document title and language, declared tagging, structure-tree presence, and bookmarks where PDF facts are available. Historical acceptance-evidence attachments help locate the records associated with each file.
Page comparisons cover the first 200 pages and report available dimensions, rotation, annotation, link, and form-control counts. A file with unavailable PDF facts retains its file identity and stored evidence.
These facts focus the review. They do not establish that text, layout, reading order, or accessibility are unchanged. Check the document and evidence before approving the exact revision.
Use the report to choose the next action.
- Check the period and sample counts before interpreting a median or percentage.
- Open overdue or older cases to distinguish vendor work from a review queue or a missing decision.
- Read current assignments and case context together before moving work.
- Confirm capacity and project complexity before turning the backlog estimate into a schedule.
Reports require access to a workspace with Exchange enabled. Case records stay within the authorized workspace. Compare current plan allowances or explore the complete Exchange workflow.
Operations reporting questions
- Which reporting periods are available?
- Choose the last 30, 90, or 180 days. Reports use UTC dates and elapsed calendar days, including weekends. Historical event measures use the selected period; the workload and vendor assignment lists show the current state.
- Can these reports certify a vendor’s accessibility work?
- No. They describe recorded workflow events and file facts. First-pass acceptance is a case-review outcome, not proof of WCAG, PDF/UA, ADA, or legal conformance. Review the exact returned revision and its evidence separately.
- Does revision comparison find every text or visual change?
- No. It compares file identity, available PDF metadata and structure facts, selected page facts, and historical evidence attachments. It is not a text diff or pixel comparison. Unchanged page facts do not establish unchanged wording, appearance, or reading order.
- Why might a measure have no result?
- Missing milestone history is not filled with invented dates. A turnaround measure can have no recorded samples, and a nonempty backlog needs at least three first approvals in the chosen period before a clearance estimate is shown.
